Description
Langston Golf Course is located on Benning Road in DC, at the end of the DC Street Car Line. This beautiful 18-Hole course was named after John Mercer Langston, the first African American elected into public office. Langston remains a rock in the African American heritage. Langston also has a driving range and is home of The Langston Grille. This hilly 18-hole course is considered one of the best public owned corses in the district. It's also the only golf course in the city with water hazards. This course is not for the faint of heart as it contains two 500+ yard par-5s. However the course does offer Family Tees that do offer some relief for beginner players. The Course can be played in 9 or 18 holes.
