Lexington Golf & Country Club, the second oldest club in the Commonwealth of Virginia, was chartered on March 31, 1902. That same year the original golf course was constructed by the club’s charter members. The original 9-hole course was sold in 1935 and is now the Fairwinds subdivision. In 1930, the club purchased the 96-acre Tri-Brook Farm on which they constructed the 9-hole golf course. In 1966, sixty more acres were acquired and the old course was plowed in order to construct the 18-hole course known as the Jewel of the Valley.

Probably one of the best “bang for your buck” courses around. Great condition, good layout, and nice amenities. Hidden gem in the mountains look forward to playing again!
