Blacksburg Country Club features an 18-hole golf course, designed by former president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, Ferdinand Garbin. The Club is known for its peaceful atmosphere and scenic view of the mountains. All 18 holes were renovated in 2013, with each green being expanded back to their original size. A new practice facility was constructed as well, along with a brand new short game area. BCC has the luxury of two equal and challenging nine holes with a course rating of 71.5 and a slope of 129 from the championship tees. It is a member-friendly golf course with forgiving fairways and greens. There are six different sets of tees to match any skill level. The North Fork of the Roanoke River meanders through the course, coming into play on several holes. The course also features more than 60 sand bunkers and several water holes to challenge you.
