Don Golf & Country Club (Academy)

Information

The project of 18-hole champions course was designed by an architect Folker Pueshel, a member of the European Institute of golf architects, and the project was realized by a German company Mokinski & К, which had built more than 130 golf courses in the Old World’s countries. The main distinctive feature of the golf course is maintenance of the original landscapes and environment with its local colour. The golf facility shows a spectacular view with big fairways on the banks of the river Don. They can be seen from any part of the course. They add difficulty, beauty and enough obstacles to the most number of holes, which make the game even more exciting. A great number of “dog leg” or “risk or reward” holes guarantee a pleasant necessity to constantly work out a game strategy to safely get to the final destination - a green. “Don” Golf & Country Club with its unique facilities throws down a real challenge to sophisticated golfers wishing to experience their skills at an astonishing and wonderful place. Perfectly blended into the natural landscape the southern golf course will meet the requirements of golfers of different levels and it will be a marvelous facility for running international tournaments.
