Heritage Hills boasts the best of both worlds. It extends to 6,800 yards of championship golf and plays at 5,400 yards using the forward tees. Our front nine takes the golfer through the mature forest of Oro Medonte. The First hole is tree lined. It gives the impression of being tighter than it is. Hole one sets you up for the adventure that will challenge you for the next four hours. You will wonder what the difference is. The absence of noise, no houses or roads to distract you. Just the natural mature beauty of a pristine golf course. After making it to the seventh tee, you are presented with a beautiful, lofty view of the seventh fairway. Your drive will require a solid hit, across the creek to a generous landing area, only to be faced with an elevated green protected by 3 daunting sand traps. The Back nine gives the golfer the feeling of a links course. Both the length and Mother Nature combat the open layout. The course is never the same when you play here. The wind always plays a major part in choosing the right club for each shot.

Work in progress. Drainage on first few holes makes the start splashy. Greens surprisingly good. Woody front with a wide open back gives an interesting contrast.

Great conditions, greens, layout and value. A real gem of a course, hidden in the middle of nowhere. Only problem, pace of play on a Saturday was brutal. I counted 5 groups on hole 18! Disappointing and unbelievable to see. 6h round and waiting on every single back 9 tee box.

I think that this course offers the best value in the area. It's a great layout and the greens are some of the best that I have played on and I have been lucky enough to have played a lot of nice courses in Ontario.
