Located inside I-270 in northwest Columbus, this Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed golf course is a rare find - built over 50 years ago. Mr. Jones thought outside the box in designing this delightful facility which includes twin par 3 holes. Each par 3 hole is actually two parallel holes complete with tees, fairways and greens. The idea behind this feature was to allow play to move at a more reasonable pace by allowing the faster players to advance ahead of the slower foursomes. Raymond Memorial was the first course in the United States to have such a feature. From the black tees, this course plays to 6,864 and from the blue tees, it plays to 6,452 yards. In addition the course plays to 5,990 from the white tees, 5,171 from the orange tees and 3,400 from the purple tees. All greens are raised and sloped from back to front. They are also large and severely contoured. Sand bunkers protect the front side of all 18 holes. Most holes have two sand bunkers with others strategically placed between the tee and green.

GPS always had me on the wrong hole so the distance was never remotely accurate

Nice course with good layout. Large Greens were slightly slow but fair. Slow play as course isn’t adequately marshaled. Worth the green fees though.

We played a round of 18 holes (at the beginning of October). The golf course is very beautiful. Wide fairway and very good greens. The cost was 30 $ per person with cart.

Better shape than usual for the course itself. I always struggle here
