Buffalo Tournament Club

A great golf course provides a fair test of skill for players of all ability levels; it has finely conditioned turf surfaces, friendly and helpful staff and a convenient peaceful location. At Buffalo Tournament Club the golf course design provides a fantastic test of golf from its five sets of tees, along the irrigated bent grass fairways, through strategic bunkering, around mature trees and diverse water bodies, to the massive sculpted greens, giving the player a different challenge each time they play. The golf course is located 6 miles east of Transit Road on Genesee Street (Route 33) in the Town of Lancaster. The property on which the golf course was built consisted of a series of several small farmed fields, woodlands, abandoned gravel quarries, many mature trees, and has 55 feet of elevation change. The soils are sandy loam and provide excellent drainage.
