Northwood Country Club

For more than 75 years, golfers have been enjoying the game at Northwood, one of Mississippi’s finest golf courses. Recognized for its rolling terrain, beautiful water hole, mature pines, and lovely azaleas, the course hosts member tournaments throughout the year. Northwood also offers a full practice area, including a driving range, putting green, and chipping green with greenside bunkers. The 18-hole, par-71 course is 6,212 yards long and has helped hone the skills of many NCAA, state, and local golf champions. Golf legend Eddie Merrins calls the course home and Northwood has created one of the state’s most successful youth programs. Many state amateur champions have come out of Northwood, and numerous junior golfers from Northwood have moved on to win junior tour events and state high school championships and play golf on the college level.
