Designed in 1989 by famed golf course architect Harley Hodges, The Pine View Championship 18 Hole course has earned a reputation in Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti for the way the challenge intensifies as players swing through the front & back nines. The first nine, known as "Open Pines," features wide fairways with some difficult greens. As players approach the back nine, known as "Rolling Pines", they soon find themselves among beautiful white pine trees, which line the sides of many holes. The landscape is all at once majestic and challenging. The longest, most difficult tees at Pine View measure 6,490 yards while the shortest set of tees play to 4,101 yards. This makes an excellent combination for golfers of all skill and experience levels, whether they aim to relax or enhance their games. To ensure every player's enjoyment, Pine View Golf Course requires proper golf attire, general golf course etiquette, and speed of play rules to be observed at all times. We also ask all players to adhere to the cart rules of the day, repair ball marks, and replace divots. Water hazards are incorporated sparingly, however, the challenge and the beauty lies in the big, majestic white pines that line many of the holes.

The greens were in rough shape and it was near impossible to find your ball if you sprayed it at all. I don't see me coming back to that one
