Home to the inaugural Malaysian Open, the historic Old Course at 6,742 yards and playing to a par-72, has been the venue for many international tournaments. Originally laid out in 1921 and a total rebuild following the ravages of World War II, the courses have undergone renovation and refurbishment over the years. The reconstruction undertaken in recent years has certainly pitched up to the modern day golf challenge with many tactical offerings and surprises abound. The layouts, have however, till today retained most of its unique characteristics and charm of the parkland environment. Under a panoramic view of the city’s skyline, a day out on the RSGC courses is a memorable journey from the first tee to the 18th green.
