We play every week at The Essex G.C and the course is in excellent nick especially the greens which were tinned back in the middle of August. The greens have now recovered and run true to line so you can pott those monster putts. Very good value for money especially if you can play with a member. I just want to thank the groundsmen for doing such a great job throughout the year. You hardly see them on the course but they keep it in good shape. Keep up the good work & will definitely be back next week for another round on a challenging and demanding course which you don't feel totally knackered when you have completed 18 holes.

Great year round course, some of the best fairways in North Essex, very long course need to be a big hitter. I like that every hole is isolated from each other, you can’t see the other holes from the hole you are playing. The course is very flat which usually means it would be boring for some people but it’s anything but boring. Only thing that lets the place down is the very dated club house and the bad food.

Great condition for March, firm fairways and smooth greens. Long but quite forgiving wide fairways. Great club house, good food. Ideal Society venue.
