The Duke's Course is the longer of our two courses (6369 yards, par 71) on the lower part of the estate that adjoins Richmond Park, so it really feels that you're playing golf within the Park's unique natural setting. The Duke's Course features many water hazards and the park's ancient brook. The Duke's retains several similarities to the original course built in 1923 and regarded by many as the 'championship course' due to its length and more challenging nature. It was home to the Virgin Atlantic PGA Surrey Open in 2013, with the region's top professionals taking on the demands of the Duke's. The signature hole is the par-5 12th that runs alongside Richmond's ancient Beverley Brook - the green is in reach of two well-struck, perfectly placed shots. The Duke's Course demands longer tee shots to carry ditches and rough, so is often preferred by more experienced golfers who are looking for a challenge.

Friendly staff, all are welcome atmosphere, greens are good, bunkers not great, fairways okay considering how busy the course gets.
