Established in 1910, Langley Park’s tight tree lined fairways provide a tough but fair challenge to even the most serious golfer. Our course was designed by five time Open champion J.H.Taylor, the architect of many great courses such as Royal Birkdale, and who is generally accepted to be the "inventor of the dog-leg".. We are rightly proud of our history, and can name the great Henry Cotton amongst our previous club golf professionals. The course has been used as a regional qualifier for the Open Championship and has seen many great players grace its fairways. We are a friendly club with a great atmosphere and an active membership. We also enjoy a varied social calendar of events that will appeal to all.

Good course, long tight fairways, with lots of trees to get caught behind. If your ball goes wide off the tee, I suggest loading up again as the chances of finding it are slim. Not much elevation to challenge, and a bit sparse on the bunkers and water hazards. Nonetheless it still has some challenges to navigate. Overall quality of the course has improved significantly over the past 3 to 5 years, down to a great ground team and a supportive membership. Alas prolonged spells of heavy rain does close the course and the bunkers need some development. Prices have increased (as is the world), and given the quality of some courses not too far away this may put people off. However, given the location and ease of accessibility it would be hard to find another course of this standard at just a short train ride from London Victoria. Well worth the visit.

Lightning greens considering the conditions. Course overall was great for this time of the year.
