On 230 acres of rolling North Essex parkland, our members and visitors enjoy peace and tranquillity away from the bustle of modern life. Our Club sits adjacent to Gosfield Hall, the magnificent Georgian Manor House and one time Royal Residence. In this idyllic setting, we have two golf courses, the Championship Lakes and the less demanding Meadows. The Lakes course, designed by Sir Henry Cotton, meanders through woods, across streams and over lakes in some of the most beautiful countryside in England.

Great course and more than enough water and sand to cause a novice problems! Bit boggy and some areas roped off but it was December in England. Friendly and helpful Pro in the shop.
