Abbotsley Golf Hotel - Cromwell

The Cromwell course was built in 1990 and is maintained to the same high standard as the Abbotsley. It provides a more leisurely and less demanding test than Abbotsley. But it’s still no pushover! Like the Abbotsley it is pleasantly undulating with views across the Huntingdonshire countryside. There are enough water hazards to be irritating and several greens that tease and torment! Our members at Abbotsley have a separate Cromwell Club for those who just choose to play the Cromwell Course. And many do. Perhaps the slightly shorter course, at 6,164 yards for men and 5,468 for ladies, helps keep the handicap lower and gives more opportunity for pars and birdies.
