Description
Etableringen af Halsted Kloster Golfklub er resultatet af et utrætteligt forarbejde af den legendariske gymnastikleder og landskendte, nu afdøde, Niels Erik Bertelsen, som blev igangsat allerede i 1986 sammen med en række andre ildsjæle i lokalområdet. Mange geografiske placeringer af banen blev undersøgt, men til sidst lykkedes det dog at indgå forlig med Dansk Naturfredning, så den endelige placering kunne ske på de smukke naturområder nord og syd for Halsted Kloster.
