White Deer Golf Course (Heritage)

White Deer Golf Course is one of the most unique public golf facilities in all of Pennsylvania. White Deer is located in Montgomery, Pennsylvania and truly has something for everyone. This exceptional complex includes 36 holes of championship golf as well as FootGolf and DiscGolf. White Deer Golf Complex has a fully stocked pro shop, driving range and a large practice facility. Designed by Lindsay Ervin, the Heritage Course opened in the summer of 1990. Known to our locals as the "New Course" the Heritage features seventy-four bunkers, eleven water holes, plenty of out-of-bounds and tree-lined fairways. The opening hole gives false hope as this course is literally cut into the dense woods of southern Lycoming County. The Heritage offers four sets of tees so all can enjoy this scenic par 72 layout. At 6587 yards from the tips, the smart player usually prevails over a long hitter as accuracy is the key in maneuvering this tight course. Over the years, the Heritage Course has accumulated a loyal following of players who consider its layout to be one of the finest in all of North Central Pennsylvania.
