Thorncreek Golf Course

Thorncreek was designed by the firm Finger Dye Spann, Inc. and opened for play in 1992 as Thornton’s “New Championship Course.” The front nine features a variety of holes incorporating Big Dry Creek and native wetlands to create a challenge for golfers. The back nine routes through a residential area with fewer hazards but still plenty of trouble for the golfer. The course plays to a par 72 with five sets of tees ranging from 5,046 yards to 7,201 yards.
