The Golf Club of Bucyrus is a Par 72 golf course that can be stretched out to 6331 yards. Although not one of the longest courses, position play golf is key. Scoring is critical on holes 1 through 6, as hole 7, a par- 5 that can reach 575 yards, is the toughest hole on the course. The stretch from hole 7 to hole 9 is a difficult closing 3 holes on the front that demands keeping the ball in the fairway to avoid the tree lines on both sides from tee to green. Starting from hole 10, keeping the ball in play is crucial on the back nine. These holes reveal an old traditional golf course, where distance is not crucial.
