Description
The Dutch ligt centraal in Nederland, in het dorp Spijk (gemeente West Betuwe). De door topdesigner Colin Montgomerie ontworpen golfbaan op International Championship Niveau wordt onderhouden volgens de hoogste Europese normen. The Dutch is daarmee koploper in Nederland voor wat betreft onderhoudseisen en bespeelbaarheid. The Dutch is een par 71 Colin Montgomerie Signature Design Golf Course. Dit geeft de baan een internationale kwalificatie; noodzakelijk en onmisbaar om grote internationale toernooien te verwerven. The Dutch was dan ook een van de European Tour Destinations van 2016 tot en met 2018 als host voor het KLM Open. Het onderhoud van de prachtige 18 holes wordt verzorgd door een groep van 20 vaste greenkeepers. Zij zijn gedurende het jaar werkzaam om de baan in topconditie te houden, wat onder andere resulteert in een GEO-certificaat (GolfEnvironment Organization); het internationale bewijs van duurzaam golfbaanbeheer.
