  Very tricky fairways and greens with slopes and borrows. Fair but tough if you not played before. Some blind holes course in great condition.

  Perhaps it was because of the 'restrictions the course had during lockdown followed by superb attention by the greenkeepers but the course is in the best condition I have seen it in a decade.

  I’ve played a number of courses in Berkshire over the last few months. This has been the wettest Winter I’ve ever seen, with February being officially the wettest on record. Yet Temple has been playable and often even dry for much of the winter period. The greens have remained in great condition and only one temporary green has been in place (even this is a great green as it’s in place all year round as a practice green). The course is undulating with several holes having difficult cambers. It is challenging in places and has great views. The other players are also noticeably friendly. A lovely course to play.
