Tanglewood Golf Club

Play a round at Tanglewood’s private 18-hole championship golf course designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and renowned architect Ralph Plummer. This 7,000-yard course features lush Bermuda fairways and is a challenge for any level golfer. Tanglewood became the first regulation golf course in the country to install the eco-friendly, Zoysia grass hybrid, Diamond Zoysia, on its greens. Diamond Zoysia is a wonderful putting surface. Tanglewood’s Director of Golf Mike Fish receives calls from all over the world asking for advice on the installation and care of this environmentally friendly grass. Dr. Milton Engleke and his team at Texas A&M created this Diamond Zoysia hybrid that thrives in the Texas summer heat and dry conditions. Without overseeding or aerifying Tanglewood’s greens are great putting surfaces year round.
