Stockbridge Golf Club

With several sets of tees and the Housatonic River meandering throughout, the golf course can fit the game of any golfer at any skill level. From the back tees, the course measures 6,659 yards - short by modern standards, but with a premium on accuracy due to the close proximity of the river on more than half of the holes. Conversely, higher handicap players have the opportunity to choose from among three sets of forward tees, so the course can be enjoyable for all ability levels. From the most forward tees, the course measures 4,624 yards, a very manageable and enjoyable distance for shorter-hitters, particularly seniors, juniors and beginning players. The terrain of the course is flat, making the traditional walking experience easy and enjoyable.
