Description
St. Michael’s stands among Australia’s best, recently ranked as one of New South Wales top ten golf courses, and holds a national ranking amongst the top fifty. With a location immersed within the Botany Bay National Parkland, adjoining the Pacific Ocean, course designer’s Glancey and Moran(1938) had vision of designing a tough championship links course, without disturbing the natural terrain and beauty of the Little Bay peninsula (par 72). Today St. Michael’s has evolved as one of Australia’s few environmentally aware golf links by implementing specific programs aimed at protecting our resources, flora and fauna. The objective is to reduce our carbon footprint, protect the endangered species of this region and to be responsible for the way in which we function as a golfing business.

Mark DuffyJanuary 02, 2019We played this course on 2nd Jan 2019. What a beautiful setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean . The staff in the pro shop were very friendly and helpful. The excellent greens were fast and true and soft enough to hold good approach shots. My only complaint was that some of the bunkers were compacted making some bunkers almost unplayable.The teeing areas and fairways are in fantastic condition. The views towards the sea are amazing . The course is not overly long but is protected by the wind clever well designed bunkering and a number of blind tee shots. This course is a must visit course for golfers of all levels . Accuracy is key miss the fairway and you will be punished . A great course in a great location that works with the natural landscape . Mark Duffy h9
