Ponte Vedra Inn & Club (Lagoon)

Golf has been a way of life around here since Ponte Vedra Inn & Club introduced the first course to the region in 1928. Today, Ponte Vedra is renowned as one of the golf capitals of the East Coast. The Ocean Course and Lagoon Course each feature a distinct seaside links atmosphere. Meandering lagoons, undulating fairways, elevated Bermuda greens protected by steep-faced bunkers and a prevailing sea breeze create a challenging but compelling course that will require all 14 clubs to conquer. This 6,022-yard, par-70 masterpiece was co-authored by two design geniuses — Robert Trent Jones with the front nine holes in 1961 and Joe Lee with the back nine in 1977.
