Description
After its redevelopment in 2007 the course is a par 70 and at just shy of 6000yds, it provides a good test to all levels of golfer with well positioned bunkers for today’s technology, the greens are USGA specification so provide great consistency all year round, and the large teeing areas enable us to provide all year play without the need for winter mats. With the river Colne running through the course it provides some spectacular views the Colne valley and the nearby picturesque village of West Bergholt.

Nathan CooperApril 08, 2025The range mats are worn out, there is lots of construction going on, and the paths are poor, but the fairways and greens are in good-ish condition. It’s not a terrible course, but it needs work. It’s got another new owner, so maybe in a year or two, it will be okay. £30 midweek seems expensive for what it is.

Leaves everywhere, bunkers unplayable, too many players on the course. Good place to use the driving range but terrible golf course.

Chris RevalOctober 03, 2017The green Keeper’s at this course are on LSD I think. The pin placements are ridiculous. Mostly on the edges of greens and on severe slopes!!!!
