Description
Perched 200 feet above the golden sands and blue water of the Atlantic Ocean lies the immaculate Pine Cliffs Golf Course. This is one of the country’s most original golf courses, built in a pinewood setting, with tree lined fairways running parallel along the Atlantic Ocean, giving it's guests breathtaking views along the Algarvian coastline. Architect Martin Hawtree’s main concern was to keep the natural surroundings as it was before the course was built. The jewel of this perfectly kept course is the Par 3 sixth hole. The championship tee is built over a ravine that requires a 198 metre carrying shot over the cliffs to a deep but narrow green.

Tim CashmanApril 28, 2023Course was short & fun, and was in decent shape. Two holes were fantastic but other than that, the course was good. Wouldn't be rushing back to play but enjoyed the day out. For what it's worth, the course was pretty empty so it only took about an 60 minutes to play 9.
