Description
A yearlong golf course restoration project which began in late October 2015 will include installation of United States Golf Association (USGA) specification greens with Bentgrass turf, new cart paths, additional trees, hybrid Bermuda turf on tees, fairways and green surrounds, new water features, restoration of natural areas and an improved irrigation system. The new golf course will return to the uniqueness of the original 1951 design that Ralph Plummer had for this highly rated West Texas course. When all is said and done, Midland Country Club will once again boast one of the premier courses in the state.
