Description
Meon Valley Marriott Hotel and Country Club, is widely regarded as one of the leading golf venues in the South of England and that’s no surprise given the standard of its two fine courses designed by course architect Hamilton J Stutt. Opened at the end of the 1970s, the Championship Course winds its way between lakes, streams and wooded areas with a fine selection of long and short holes. What it lacks in length is more than made up for by its tight landing areas and well guarded greens. The signature hole is the 153 yard par 3 12th, which is played from an elevated tee to a green protected at the front by water. The green on the tight par 4 2nd is also difficult to hit in regulation figures and the same can be said on the delightful dog leg par 4 5th

Peter MaceJuly 03, 2016Rain at start then heavy showers - got soaked , not good fun at all, a hard round in difficult conditions. Lost quite a few balls as not bothered to go searching in lon wet grass.. But on the flip side won the raffle - free four ball at meon 😀
Rob ShellMay 06, 2017Great course in fantastic condition. Very slow front 9 as 2 four balls didn't seem to have much appreciation for others behind. Credit to the course as a Marshall came round twice and told us they have been asked to speed up, also gave us a complimentary drink for the slow play.
