Established in 1901 Manistee Golf and Country Club is one of Michigan’s oldest courses featuring unmatched views of the local beaches, piers and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Take on one of our 18 beautiful holes, with many perched high atop the Lake Michigan shoreline. On the shores of Lake Michigan, you will find a 100+ year old gem in the world of golf. Golfers will find views of the lake and harbor from many vantage points, however, holes 3, 4, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are located on the bluff directly overlooking lake Michigan. The holes feature a distinctive Links character. As with most links courses, the breeze felt off Lake Michigan, can become variable and will be a challenge to any skill level golfer. At a total length of 5,614 yards, don’t be fooled by the short length by today’s golf standards, as many well appointed water hazards, bunkers and undulation in the terrain will require a keen eye for course management and quality iron play.
