INNESS Golf

Wedged between the majestic Catskill and Mohonk Mountain ranges, INNESS is a wide-open, inland links-style course with expansive property and mountain views. Open to the public, members and hotel guests, the 9-hole golf course at INNESS was designed by renowned architects and builders King Collins Golf, widely known for creating Sweetens Cove in Tennessee. A celebration of the game of golf, absent some of the outdated traditions found at courses of this caliber, INNESS can be enjoyed by golfers of every skill level. INNESS is already being called “Sweetens Back Nine.” Course designer Collins says “Golfers will know right off that they’re in for something different.” The first thing you’ll see is a massive and wildly undulating 45,000ft² putting surface that triples as the practice green and the green for the downhill Par 4 second and Par 5 ninth. Another double green combines a reverse Redan on the upper half and a classic “lion’s mouth” bunker framed by the lower half. INNESS will require repeat play to fully appreciate the countless shot-making possibilities.
