Description
Das insgesamt 130 ha umfassende Gelände bietet eine großzügige Einteilung mit breiten, meist geraden Fairways. Die Anlage wird vom US-Militär betrieben und beherbergt den amerikanischen "Stuttgart Golf Club" und den deutschen "Golfclub Neckartal e.V." Der Platz wurde im Jahr 1956 vom US-amerikanischen Militär eröffnet und war lange Zeit Bestandteil der inzwischen aufgelösten Kaserne Pattonville. Das Design stammt von Bernhard v. Limburger. Die relativ großen Grüns sind überwiegend gut einsehbar, jedoch von Bunkern und Gräben gut verteidigt. Es gibt kaum nennenwerte Höhenunterschiede zu überwinden und der in über einem halben Jahrhundert eingewachsene Baumbestand sorgt für beste Parkland-Course-Atmosphäre.
