Tucked away in a small leafy suburb of Leicester, Glen Gorse is a hidden gem; a rich tapestry of established woodlands and long stretches of opens spaces. Glen Gorse is an attractive and mature parkland, offering players the chance to experience its testing greens and wonderful tree-lined vistas. Glen Gorse takes pride in the well-established course which is looked after and nurtured by a team of green staff, headed by James Burberry the Course Manager.

Niall KellyDecember 01, 2016Played on winter greens which like concrete on a very frosty morning. The normal greens looked great and can't wait to play when the course is fully open. I did see enough to make me think this would be very nice in better conditions. Fairly tight fairways on most holes. Trees line nearly all fairways and mean a tricky second through or over trees if your tee shot strays. Plenty of bunkers protecting most greens which appear large mostly. There wasn't one stand out hole for me but that may change when I play the full course on my return. The shop pro was very helpful and friendly as well. That's a big draw to a course for me.
