Gilroy Golf Course

Our Santa Clara county golf course has been dubbed the "Best 11 hole golf course in the U.S.". But don't let the "11 hole thing" scare you away. This course can be played as a nine hole course for a quick round during the day or challenge yourself with 18 holes. On the back nine, you play seven of the same holes that you played on the front nine but from differnt lengths and angles, plus two differenet holes that you didn't play the first time around. Hole #7 is an uphill par 5 with a double tier green and hole #8 is a beautiful downhill par 3. On the back nine you will go "around the hill" with two par 4's #16 and 17. Our Santa Clara county golf course is a par 70 (35 on each side) and can be played from 5200 yds to just over 6000 yds. It`s serene setting in the still unspoiled Uvas valley makes you feel as you are miles away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. Built in 1923 by local farmers and businessmen, the golf course has gone through very few changes from its original classic design. Small undulating greens and wide generous, tree lined fairways will await you at every tee. The 245 yard, par 3, eighth hole is perched high above the course and provides a breathtaking 180 degree view of the southern tip of the Santa Clara County as well as the pristine Gabilan Mountain range.
