Garforth Golf Club

Garforth offers a great golfing experience on a course set in beautiful Yorkshire parkland. The beautifully maintained 18 holes, designed by the famed Dr Alister Mackenzie in 1913, include what has been described as possibly ‘the finest four finishing holes in the North of England’. Adding to the challenge are the Cock and Carr Becks which meander across the course. The Cock Beck is reputed to have run with blood during the Battle of Towton, the most infamous conflict of the War of the Roses in 1461. The gently undulating parkland, with holes ranging from 157 to 509 yards, makes this a golfing experience suitable for all ages and abilities.
