Effingham Golf Club

Effingham is one of the finest downland courses in England, designed originally by the renowned Harry Colt. Set on 264 acres of rolling chalk downs and at up to 500 feet above sea level, the two 9 hole loops have panoramic views from Windsor across the City of London to Canary Wharf, with many famous landmarks visible on a clear day. Effingham was an Open Regional Qualifying course from 2006 to 2010 and hosts a regional qualifier for the 2014 English Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship aka the Brabazon Trophy. A real members golf club situated in the heart of open, peaceful Surrey countryside, Effingham is only 22.5 miles from Charing Cross, 10 minutes from the M25 (junction 9 or 10) and close to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
