Measuring 6474 yard, par 71 (SSS71) for the Gents and 5472, par 71 (SSS71) for the Ladies, the mature, tree-lined, parkland course provides a challenging but fair test of golf. Throughout Leicestershire, Cosby’s greens are well renowned for the subtleties of borrow, consistency of pace and smoothness of roll. Strategically placed bunkers and well irrigated approaches are factors to consider when adopting a ‘risk and reward’ tactic. A 8 bay covered driving range and newly opened short game practice area provide an excellent opportunity for a pre-round warm up – strongly recommended before you tackle the tricky first hole! If you are playing Cosby for the first time, you would be advised to read the course guide before you embark on your round.
