Located Just minutes outside of Fayetteville and Oak Hill off Salem Gatewood Road in the heart of whitewater rafting, Bridge Haven Golf club is the perfect one-day golf getaway. Built as a nine-hole course in 1992 and upgraded to 18 holes in 1996, Bridge Haven is the perfect challenge for any golfer from the serious handicapper, to the average golfer, to even the beginner will quickly learn to appreciate and love this intriguing public course. The first nine holes of the sprawling course have very few obstacles -- save a sand trap and a lake or two -- leaving the well-groomed Bluegrass striped fairways ripe for the average golfer's tee-shot. While the front nine is an open more forgiving set of holes, the back nine at Bridge Haven offers challenges even the most serious golfer will appreciate, like the part 3 No. 10 with its sloped green or the long part 5 No. 11.
