Big Spring Country Club (Harmony Landing)

The golf course at the Harmony Landing Campus is situated on the rolling bluffs above the Ohio River in Goshen, Kentucky. The original nine-hole layout was a public golf course which opened for play in 1926. The current 18-hole layout was created in 1952. The course features a traditional parkland golf experience, with plush Zoysiagrass fairways being lined by many varieties of deciduous and evergreen trees. The putting greens feature a variety of slopes while being protected by subtle yet strategic bunkering. Playing over 6,700 yards from the back tees, the course itself features very few even lies. The rolling terrain creates numerous blind shots and forced carries over deep valleys. The green complexes require precise irons shots, with special attention being paid to keeping the ball below the hole. Approach shots which finish over the green often result in the most difficult chips and pitches.
