Balboa Park Golf Course is a challenging par 72, where Sam Snead holds the course record, and a nine-hole executive course. It features stellar views of downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, Point Loma and the Pacific Ocean. The oldest public golf facility in San Diego, Balboa Park Golf Course also offers a driving range, Pro Shop, coffee shop, halfway house and practice putting greens. The course is just five minutes away from the San Diego Convention Center, downtown hotels, Little Italy, and the Gaslamp Quarter Historic District.

Joseph OrabonaOctober 04, 2024Pace of play is awful and frustrating. The course is okay. The best part is the bunkers. They have lots of new sand. Other than that, if you like teeing off at 8am and having it take more than 4.5 hours, this is your jam. It’s not mine. I won’t be back.
