El New Course de Atalaya, Par 71, aparte de ofrecer unas vistas espectaculares sobre el Mediterráneo y Gibraltar es considerado uno de los campos más naturales e integrados en su medio ambiente de la Costa. Creado en 1990 por Paul Krings, este campo se encuentra más hacia el interior, pero da también la sensación de campo llano con sus calles anchas y onduladas y sus greens rápidos. Hasta se podría decir que los obstáculos son obvios, pero al final sorprende al desprevenido. En cuanto a calidad, el New ya casi está al mismo nivel que el Old y durante los meses de verano siempre hay grandes ofertas para el jugador ocasional.

Der Platz ist sehr eng und viele kurzes Par 4. Der Zustand der Greens ist ok. Wir müssten immer warten. Das Personal In der Rezeption ist nicht sehr freundlich. Wir werden hier nicht mehr spielen wollen. Dafür gibt es viele schöne Plätze in der Umgebung.
