Description
One of the most popular sites at the Academy is the Eisenhower Golf Course. A modern scenic facility with two 18-hole courses: the championship Blue, and the stunning Silver. The Blue Course was recently named the top golf course in the Department of Defense by Travel and Leisure Golf magazine, and was also a previous member of USA Today's Top 100 courses in the nation. Eisenhower Golf Course boasts two outstanding courses at very reasonable rates. The Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed Blue Course stretches to almost 7,500 yards and offers wide fairways and challenging greens, there are 5 sets of tees to accomodate players of all skill levels. The Silver is a demanding course with a premium placed on accuracy rather than length. The course measures 6,519 yards from the championship tees and 5,559 from the forward tees. In addition to open play, a full tournament schedule is slated for spring, summer and fall months. Both courses offer stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.

James MacIsaacMay 27, 2018The Silver Course is slightly shorter than the Blue Course, but makes up for it with a challenging layout and diabolical greens. Pin placement can determine a birdie or double bogey. You’ll need to work the ball left and right off the box and deal with a variety of lies. Side hill, up hill, and down hill, you get them all. A fantastic course in pristine condition.
