Anglesea Golf Club

Anglesea Golf Club’s course is regarded as one of regional Victoria’s finest and an easy 1.5-hour drive from Melbourne. Set in the beautiful hinterland of the Great Ocean Road, it offers a challenging layout. The 1st nine holes (designed by Vern Morcom) were opened in December 1953. The 2nd nine holes opened in April 1961, completing a course with a par 72 rating. Acquisition of further land in 1962 saw the 1st nine holes redesigned and completed in 1968, resulting in a current rating of 73. In the 1990s our fairways were transformed with Wintergreen Couch and in 2000, recycled water was connected. The course has 42 bunkers, 3 practice fairways, 2 practice putting greens and a 6-bay driving range. Our adjoining bushland and fairways are home to hundreds of Eastern Grey Kangaroos. The Clubhouse boasts a magnificent view down the 18th Fairway. Members are welcome all ages. We look forward to welcoming you as a playing member, social member, or corporate group.
