Located just a half hour from Calgary, Muirfield Lakes Golf Club is one of the newest semi-private golf courses in southern Alberta. It's a great round for the price, which is why it has quickly garnered a local following. The par-70 layout has a traditional design that will appeal to low and high handicappers alike with plenty of interesting risk-reward opportunities and four different sets of tees. The terrain at Muirfield Lakes G.C. is seemingly flat, making it easy to walk, but there are a few subtle but tricky undulations throughout. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are some strategically placed bunkers to contend with as well. In addition to the challenging round, golfers will also enjoy scenic views of the blue prairie sky that stretches for miles to the east while the Rockies lie to the west.
